IT specialist Exponential-e selects Panasonic videowall for new location

After relocating to a new premises in east London, cloud and IT services provider Exponential-e required a videowall solution to accurately display data to the company's network engineers.

London-based cloud and IT services provider Exponential-e has installed a Panasonic TH-55LFV50 videowall display. The new 2 x 4 array configuration forms an integral part of the company’s 24/7 Network operations Centre at its new facility in east London, UK.

Exponential-e has over 1400 customers in the UK including Channel 4, Fulham FC and Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. The foundation of the company is a carrier-class Fibre network with a 100Gig Ethernet core which has been built over the last 10 years. This network underpins the services it delivers — providing solid foundations for corporate networks, the coverage to reach over 90% of UK businesses and the investments in security and equipment to power these services.

Following continued growth and international expansion, the company recently relocated its headquarters to a new east London location that features facilities with state of the art equipment. Surrey-based audiovisual specialists Focus 21 was charged with the installation of the Panasonic system.

The 2 x 4 TH-55LFV50 solution enables Exponential-e’s network engineers to visualise multiple data sets such as incoming tickets, service statuses and active mapping of POP server locations at one time, increasing efficiency in problem solving and in-turn maximising customer satisfaction.

“We provide network connectivity to our customers and many of them can’t afford any downtime; if there is a problem we need to be on top of it straight away. The Panasonic video wall is an essential tool for our business as it allows our engineers to view a range of data at one time to quickly and efficiently solve problems and keep customers happy,” said Chris Harris, IT Infrastructure Manager at Exponential-e.
