ISE 2013: Smart-e presents new collection of digital and HDMI-analogue fusion AV solutions

Smart-e reveals new digital and digital-analogue Fusion AV equipment at ISE 2013.

A new collection of digital and HDMI-analogue fusion AV solutions are being introduced by AV designer and manufacturer Smart-e.

Throughout 2012 Smart-e’s R&D team has focused on developing digital versions of its AV analogue equipment, and created new professional switching and distribution solutions that interface HDMI, Cat5e-8, DVI, fibre and USB KVM – giving rise to the Smart Digital Solutions range.

“We have invested in a lot of hard work and thought to create a range of equipment that is technically innovative, bursting with useful features, very robust and suitable for many applications, from home cinemas and small office solutions, through to digital signage and multi-room corporate communications,” said Jon Lane, Smart-e’s managing director.

Meanwhile, Smart-e will showcase a new complete solution for the corporate collaborative workspace, including a new presentation switch featuring a mix of local HDMI and remote analogue and digital inputs via Cat6 cable.

The company ia also alerting visitors to a new range of Smart-e HDMI splitters (HDCX-800 and HDCX-400) which distribute video and audio signals from one source device to up to eight screens or projectors simultaneously.

In addition, there is an enhanced version of the recently launched SmartDigital MCT-16 high-resolution matrix, the MCT-16 PRO. Revealed for the first time at ISE 2013, features include an integral Ethernet switch, allowing 100BaseT to each display and an extra audio switching layer.
