ISE 2013: New ‘moon’ for Meyer Sound Galileo processor family

Building on the original Galileo product, the new Galileo Callisto signal processing and loudspeaker management system has now commenced shipping, Meyer Sound has announced.

Building on the original Galileo product, the new Galileo Callisto signal processing and loudspeaker management system has now commenced shipping, Meyer Sound has announced.

Galileo Callisto has been designed for the precise calibration of Meyer Sound arrays, including the LEO linear large-scale sound reinforcement system and the MILO family of line array loudspeakers.

The latest system includes a number of new, specialised tools intended to make precise calibration of complex array configurations more efficient, including: a new U-Shaping filter that provides a sculpting tool for users to efficiently adjust the gain, width and slope; delay integration in the Compass control software that offers a quick alignment tool to ensure a coherent summation when combining different loudspeaker elements; simultaneous application of high- and low-pass filters in the output processing; two extra signal processing filters in the high- and low-pass filter settings, the Linkwitz-Riley and Butterworth; and a direct routing option that allows users to address a single output individually. Stand: 1-P18
