Making its first appearance at the Amsterdam trade show this year will be Martin Audio’s MLA compact, which is a smaller and lighter derivative of the company’s original MLA (Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array.
The company claims that the MLA Compact delivers the groundbreaking cellular technology found in the MLA to a wider range of applications that do not require the full power and throw of the full-size MLA, or where a smaller, lighter system is required. Scalable and versatile, the array design combines with fast, automated Display 2.1 intelligent software to deliver a ‘dramatically increased level of performance and coverage consistency’.
Although the centrepiece to the company’s stand will be the MLA Compact, Martin Audio will also display its OmniLine micro-array. The speaker is said to deliver consistent audio coverage with unprecedented accuracy, using just one amplifier channel per array.
Another addition to Martin Audio’s new generation portfolio, which will be presented at the show, is the DD6 — an ultra-versatile and compact, multi-angled enclosure based on Differential Dispersion horn technology aimed at the touring, AV and theatre segments.
Finally, Martin Audio will show its new XD12 and XD15 for the touring and theatre sector, launched at PLASA last September. This sets out to define the ‘ultimate in performance and versatility’ for fixed-dispersion, two-way loudspeaker systems.
