ISE 2013: Analog Way launches high-end AV processors

Analog Way is debuting its latest generation of high-end AV processors at ISE 2013. Both the NeXtage and SmartMatrix Ultra can be controlled via the internet using the new web-based remote control software.

A new generation of high-end AV processors is being launched by Analog Way as a world premiere during ISE 2013.

Based on the company’s new LiveCore platform, the first two products of the new range, NeXtage 16 and SmartMatriX Ultra, are aimed at the system integration and the rental and staging markets.

NeXtage 16 is a seamless switcher for demanding live events. Equipped with 16 scalers, eight inputs and two outputs, NeXtage 16 offers 28 input plugs: four HDMI, six DVI-D, two DisplayPort, eight 3G-SDI and eight x Universal Analogue. Four independent true seamless layers per output are included, as well as an independent native background layer for soft edge blending.

SmartMatriX Ultra is a high-end 12 x 4 scaled native matrix with a rugged design for durability. It offers versatile AV connections for any set-up through 42 input plugs: six HDMI, nine DVI-D, three DisplayPort, 12 3G-SDI and 12 Universal Analogue. With two independent true seamless scaled layers per output, SmartMatriX Ultra provides live processing for demanding presentations. Two units can be linked to create a 24×8 scaled seamless matrix.

Both NeXtage 16 and SmartMatriX Ultra can be controlled via the internet or the front panel using the new web-based remote control software.

These products are the result of a corporate project initiated in 2009. “The design of the LiveCore platform was the biggest R&D project ever undertaken by the company so far,” said company CEO, Adrien Corso.
