INFiLED LED chosen for DOOH site on Dubai’s busiest road

MVmk2 Series fanless outdoor display installed at A Tower, new location of DOOH advertising company Pixels World, on Sheikh Zayed Road, where more than 500,000 people pass daily

INFiLED has supplied its MVmk2 Series outdoor LED technology for the A Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, where more than 500,000 people pass daily. The installation features a fanless design intended to address reliability and performance concerns at the new location of Pixels World, a DOOH advertising company, on Dubai’s main thoroughfare.

The site is within walking distance of Dubai Mall, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future. Sheikh Zayed Road is the city’s central transportation corridor and the longest road in the United Arab Emirates.

The installation features an INFiLED MVmk2 LED display in 10.4mm pixel pitch configuration, delivering up to 10,000 nits of brightness across a 30×10m (300sqm) canvas. The brightness level is designed to ensure visibility in direct sunlight.

The MVmk2 Series is an IP65-rated display featuring a heat dissipation system and enhanced energy efficiency. The unit achieves a 16 percent reduction in average power consumption compared to conventional outdoor LED screens, according to INFiLED.

According to Pixels World, a DOOH company based in the United Arab Emirates, the decision to upgrade to the INFiLED display was driven by reliability concerns. The previous screen at the site was overheating frequently, causing power and resolution problems.

The fanless approach removes the need for additional fans or air conditioning. The design is intended to support energy-efficient operation and lower maintenance costs over the long term.

The A Tower project took approximately 12 weeks from initial concept to full installation. INFiLED’s technical team provided support to ensure the specification matched the location requirements.
