IBC 2012: Calibre announces FoveaHD shipping

Calibre UK is showcasing several of its newest products at IBC 2012, including the FoveaHD MEMC motion compensated frame rate converter, which is now shipping

Calibre UK has announced that the FoveaHD MEMC motion compensated frame rate converter, which is being showcased at the company’s IBC stand, is now shipping.

FoveaHD is a HD Motion Estimated Motion Compensated (MEMC) standard and universal format converter, computer graphics to video scan converter and frame synchroniser. It also offers powerful noise reduction, image enhancement and aspect ratio conversion.

FoveaHD will be on show at IBC alongside the Calibre’s latest VideoExcel and HQView video scalers, format converters and scan converters aimed at the professional video market.

Also showing on the Calibre UK booth will be the range of VideoExcel true universal format converters, computer graphics to video scan converters and frame synchronisers, VideoExcel packs powerful noise reduction, image enhancement and aspect ratio conversion. It uses best-in-class image processing with broadcast-grade algorithms, optimised and especially configured by Calibre using its own in-house expertise.
