Adding to Denon’s new line of advanced AV receivers, the DHT-1311XP system contains the 110W x 5-channel AVR-1311 as well as the SYS-391HT 5.1 speaker system. Set to be made available next month, the 3D-compatible set-up will be priced at £449.99.

The AVR-1311 is an HDMI 1.4a AV receiver (4 inputs, 1 output) that can be connected to TVs and other devices such as Blu-ray disc players, game consoles and set-top boxes. There is full support of 3D pass-through technology, Deep Color and x.v.Color, along with Dolby TrueHD, DTSHD Master Audio and other HD Audio formats. The system is also equipped with Denon’s Compressed Audio Restorer as well as a stereo mini-jack on the front where users can conveniently connect any portable audio player.

Each of the device’s five channels is equipped with an identical power amp, while quick select options on the front panel and remote control provide users with a convenient one-button source and surround mode selection. A dedicated Denon iPod dock control port allows users to connect and control their iPod/iPhone using one of Denon’s iPod/iPhone docks, which provides onscreen artist, album and song information.

Completing the package, the system’s 5.1 speaker set offers 2-way front and centre speakers, two full-range surround speakers and a newly-designed 100W powerful subwoofer with 8in woofer. The whole system adds to a total of 650W output power.

In keeping with Denon’s commitment to eco-friendly engineering throughout its product line, the stand-by power of all new receivers is below 0.5W.
