Thanks to a close co-operation between Pronova and its Italian dealer, Leonardo3, exhibition visitors can leaf through the Book of Secrets interactively via the 2.10m x 18.3m glass screen and operate the accompanying three-dimensional computer models.
Martin Kischkoweit-Lopin from HoloPro parent company Pronova told II: “The Book of Secrets shows very special technology developed a long time ago. These techniques require a very special way of presentation. A standard LCD or plasma screen would have been far too common for this. On the other hand the interior design of the Museum of Islamic Art is far away from a high technology design. The transparency of HoloPro allows an amazing presentation without showing any high tech. The technology takes a back seat and the design fits perfectly into the ambience. Thus HoloPro was the solution for this installation.”
