The selection of Harkness Screens continues an association with the IBC convention that has endured for more than a decade. The Spectral 240 was used to demonstrate the latest 3D imaging techniques in real-time, projecting RealD 3D and master image 3D. The Perlux, meanwhile, was used for digital 2D projection and Dolby 3D projection. The deployment was changed in accordance with the requirements of the given presentation.
Jeff Samitt, Harkness Screens group director, sales & marketing, told II: “Harkness Screens’ Perlux and Spectral screen surfaces are chosen by exhibitors and convention venues worldwide for their exceptional brightness, consistent image quality, and flexibility to present both 2D and 3D digital content, and we were honoured once again to provide our industry-leading Spectral 240 and Perlux 180 screens for the RAI Auditorium, the IBC’s 1,000-seat main presentation venue. We were delighted to help ensure the success of the IBC 2009 show.”
