GreenBrook Electrical has launched a new KingShield LED Ceiling Panel offering a low energy, low maintenance alternative to conventional recessed commercial ceiling lights. A simple to fit alternative to standard 600 x 600mm modular light fittings, the new KingShield LED Ceiling Panel provides 85 lm/W. The environmentally-friendly unit provides even light density and high lighting efficiency at just 40W, providing similar functionality to 4 x 18W fluorescent tubes while using around half the energy and enabling the end users to make energy cost savings of 44%. Offering a typical service life of 50,000 hours, the Ceiling Panels also offer low maintenance and an optional emergency pack is available to provide a standby lighting facility in the event of a power outage. Designed for office and retail applications, the new IP20-rated Ceiling Panels can provide optimum light output for any environment to offer practicality as well as reduced energy consumption. Suitable for use in lower ceiling cavities than conventional modular fittings, they are ideal for buildings with restricted ceiling voids.
