GoldenEar Technology loudspeakers now available in UK

The family of residential loudspeakers have entered the UK customer install market after their introduction into the US market in 2010.

Initially launched in the US in 2010, the GoldenEar Technology’s range of floor, stand, surround and subwoofer loudspeaker systems for custom installs are now available in the UK.

The range incorporates the Triton Two and smaller Triton Three, which are integral, DSP controlled sub-bass systems of active quadratic long-throw bass drivers coupled with side-mounted quadratic planar infrasonic radiators. The devices reproduce Mid and high frequencies by combinations of GoldenEar’s ‘signature’ 4.5in MVPP driver and Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeter.

Also making up the range are the pyramid-shaped Aon 2 and Aon 3 shelf/stand monitors, designed to achieve accurate audio reproduction. With three-dimensional imaging, They emply 6in and 7in versions of the Triton MVPP driver, and the ribbon tweeter, flanked by two side-mounted planar low-frequency radiators in a dynamically balanced configuration.

In addition, SuperSat satellite/centre channel speakers are available in two sizes. These use combinations of the GoldenEar MVPP midrange and HVFR tweeters in D’Appolito configurations to voice-match with Triton and Aon models. The ulta-slim SuperSat 50/50C designs in piano-black finished aluminum, include planar bass radiators on either side of the mid-range drivers. For on-wall and shelf installations, these also feature threaded inserts, keyhole mounts or an adjustable cradles – with furthers options of floor and table/shelf stands.

Also available are the smaller SuperSat 3 and SuperSat 3C speakers produced from a non-resonant polymer and finished in piano-black. SuperSat 3 is supplied with a stand for shelf mounting, while 3C incorporates an adjustable cradle for table-top positioning. Both models include a threaded insert and keyhole mounts for wall mounting or for use with an optional floor stand.

Rounding off the range is the SuperCinema 3 and SuperCinema 50 sat/sub systems, which include arrays of matching SuperSat satellites underpinned by, respectively, GoldenEar ForceField 3 and ForceField 4 powered subwoofers. The compact ForceField 4 incorporates the same 1200-watt digital amp developed for the Triton Two. It drives a front-mounted high-power ultra-long-throw 10in sub-bass driver coupled to a downward-firing 11in x 13.9in quadratic planar infrasonic radiator. The smaller ForceField 3 uses a 1000 watt digital amp, 8in active driver and 9.6in x 11.4in quadratic planar infrasonic radiator. Both subs are wireless-ready to accept an optional wireless kit. The finish is matte black.
