Fohhn’s latest PT-6 compact line array system and new Linear Focus Modular are now on show at this year’s Prolight + Sound
The PT-6 plug and play compact line array is said to offer both powerful coverage and easy set up. It features a twin coaxial speaker construction, 6 x 6.5in-long excursion neodymium and 3 x 14in compression driver with a specially developed HF phase EQ.
A vertical dispersion angle of 30°, according to the company, guarantees excellent results even in venues with challenging acoustics, while a 110° horizontal dispersion angle makes the loudspeaker compatible with a wide range of sound reinforcement applications.
The PT-6 can be stand-mounted, stacked or flown and used in a wide range of venues such as clubs and concert halls. Additionally, intended for increased power and greater flexibility, up to two PT-6 units can be combined using a safety mechanism.
Fohhn’s new Linea Focus Modular systems will be made available as three different active modules: two high-frequency units with 8 x 1in or 16 x 1in compression drivers, waveguide and horn, and a low-mid module with 32 x 4in long excursion speakers.
The compact modules are said to be particularly suited to large venues with challenging acoustics because units can be combined and cascaded, with long reach and directionality designed to ensure reproduction of both speech and music.
Fohhn will be exhibiting at Prolight + Sound, hall 8, stand k90.
