eyevis has unveiled the EPU-Wall solution for the assembly and operation of IP-based videowall installations in control rooms. It can be used in any situation that requires the transmission of streams over IP-networks. The EPU-Wall allows streams that are available in the network to be distributed to single displays or unlimited videowalls.
The solution consists of eyeCON wall management software and the ECS-510 database server along with an optional number of eyevis OPS-LCDs with integrated eyevis Processing Unit (EPU). The enables the assembly of flexible videowall arrangements without needing a graphic controller.
Due to the integrated OPS-compatible EPUs, the OPS-LCDs can be directly connected to a standard-IP-network. Using eyeCON the displays can be integrated into the EPU-Wall and display all sources available in the network. This creates flexibility for the extension of control room videowalls.
The EPU-Wall can transmit 4K-signals using the 4K/Ultra-HD-displays by eyevis with screen sizes from 31.5in up to 98in integrating into EPU-Wall.
