The new system – rolled out recently at Manchester International Airport – will be used to arrange training sessions and other meetings. It will also connect to and complement a digital signage network that Rocket Communications designed for the carrier in 2007 to display passenger information at Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester and Luton airports.
When fully operational, the new network will be powered and managed by POVNG, Dynamax Technologies’ digital signage content management, preparation and delivery application.
Ian McKenzie (pictured), chief executive officer of Dynamax Technologies, told II: “Rocket Communications fully appreciates the strategic value and benefits that well-designed digital signage networks provide to any integrated marketing programme, whether internal or external. It is this deep understanding, coupled with its extensive expertise in the out-of-home media sector, that made Rocket Communications the ideal partner to jointly develop the recently implemented internal digital signage network for Monarch Airlines.”
McKenzie also hinted at the prospect of future collaborations with Rocket Communications: “We are extremely pleased with the end-result and the stronger relationship with Monarch, and we look forward to engaging in future projects with Rocket Communications in 2009.”
