Dynacord helps Warsaw theatre to modernise

A recent renovation project at Warsaw’s Zygmunt Hübner Powszechny Theatre entailed the specification of a flexible Dynacord sound system.

Originally opened in 1944 and the subject of several subsequent renovations, the theatre now features a new sound spec courtesy of Wroclaw bureau of Tommex Zebrowscy Sp. J.

Responding to customer requirements for a system that would be flexible and complementary to the stage design, Tommex Zebrowscy Sp. J’s Marcin Zimny and team installed Dynacord VariLine equipment at various strategic points with the auditorium.

In total, the new Dynacord system comprises ten VariLine VL122 speakers, along with four SUB18 cabinets and four SUB 112 subwoofers. Control is provided by a P64 digital audio matrix.

The fully digital system allows the venue’s technical team to undertake extensive remote control and supervision via IRIS-Net.

“The great flexibility and high quality of the system fully convinced both us and the customer,” said Marcin Zimny. “Whenever necessary, the entire system can be reconfigured.”
