UAE-based telephone and broadband service provider du – well-known for its slogan ‘add life to life’ – has added a digital IR interpretation system from Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) to its HQ at the Grand Midwest Tower in Dubai Media City.
Specifically, the Pro-Support Team of Jumbo Electronics LLC installed a Control Unit CU 6005, an Audio Output Unit AO 6004, a Digital Transmitter DT 6008 and two Radiators RA 6013 with Wall Brackets in the Press Conference Room on the top floor of the building.
Simultaneous Interpreters will work on the two sets of IS 6132P desks, while audience members will be able to use DR 6004 Receivers to select one of the distributed languages.
Jumbo’s senior technician, Sunil Dias, and technician Baby John have already had positive experiences with DIS systems, remarking that “it’s not only the excellent value for money at DIS, it’s the fact that you’re dealing with experts who can offer quick and superior on-site support if necessary.”
DIS Middle East area sales manager Chris Hellmuth told IE: “This installation proves once again how important it is for a manufacturer to be locally present.
