Diverse selection of JBL Pro loudspeakers for Spanish nightclub

The main dance area features a line array comprised of 16 JBL VRX932LA portable line array loudspeakers, arranged in arrays of eight on each side of the main stage. Reinforcement comes from six JBL VerTec VT4882 mid-size arrayable subwoofers, while an additional eight JBL AM4212/95 two-way loudspeakers are distributed throughout the main area.

The ‘Privee’ room – intended for more intimate events and private parties – includes a system of JBL SRX715 2-way PA loudspeakers and SRX718S PA subwoofers, with JBL Control 29AV surface-mount loudspeakers providing additional reinforcement in the communal zones. The Platea dance room and adjoining Pub are also fitted with SRX715 loudspeakers and SRX718Ss subs.

Elsewhere, the dancefloor on the outdoor terrace features eight SRX738s; the rest of the open area houses 16 Control 29AV loudspeakers; and the pizzeria restaurant inside Palko is equipped with Control 26CT and 24CT in-ceiling loudspeakers, along with Control 25T surface mount loudspeakers.

Crown CTs amplifiers power the entire system, which also includes Urei mixers, a dbx DriveRack 480 loudspeaker management system and a BSS BLU16 signal processor.

Rick Kamlet, director of marketing, Commercial Sound at JBL Professional told II: “JBL has enjoyed tremendous growth in the Spanish commercial A/V market, as evidenced by recent installations at the MAHE Museum in Elx, the Atalaya Museum in Jerez de la Frontera, and the Palko nightclub in Lucena. The audio system at Palko showcases the diversity of JBL’s product line, from portable PA speakers to in-ceiling speakers to line arrays. Moreover, it demonstrates JBL’s philosophy of optimising its products to operate together as a complete system.”
