Kiko Sound worked with Vieta Pro supplier SeeSound on the sound design for the eagerly awaited new venue, which will be used for a wide variety of events, including presentations, private/corporate parties, live music and club nights.
In the larger clubroom, Magnolia, eight Vieta Fa-12 2-way enclosures have been wall-mounted in pairs at either end of the room, and are matched with Fa-118S subwoofers. The DJ booth features a pair of Vieta Re-15 monitors, while two Re-12 cabinets supplement the audio provision at the rear of the dancefloor.
Meanwhile, in the ’80s/’90s music-oriented Dalia, the audio system comprises four Vieta Fa-12s and an equal number of Fa-118S subwoofers.
Processing requirements are handled by one Vieta VDC-48 and one Vieta-VDC-1 in each room. Across the two rooms, amplification is provided by a grand total of 14 Powersoft power amplifiers, specifically four K3s, three LD1404s, four LD2004s and three LD3004s.
In addition, the marquee has been fitted with four Fa-12 enclosures and four Fa-118S subwoofers to provide sound for summer season commitments.
Nacho Alberdi, MD of Vieta Pro parent company Seesound, told II: “The big test of the sound system is when the place is full and the opening night of Discoteca Botanic was fantastic! Not only did the Vieta Pro Fa Line/Powersoft combination produce the SPL and sound quality required, it also did so within a reasonable budget – very important in these testing economic times.”
