Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) has delivered conference audio equipment to the Civil and Commercial Court at the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) in Doha.
In total, DIS has provided ten DC 6190P conference units, two IS 6132P interpretation desks and an SW 6000 software package.
The new equipment will assist the facility as it goes about its work of providing a neutral gathering place for major international court cases.
“Big and important decisions are made in this room and Al-Jazeera has already broadcast images containing our conference units across the entire world. This is perfect branding for us,” said DIS area sales manager Chris Hellmuth.
Project integration was carried out by Techno Q, whose site engineer, Ahmed Abouzoor, was working with DIS products for the first time. “This has been a very time-critical project and, luckily, we could finish the installation just in time,” he said. “The customer is really happy with the system and we’re working already on various other projects in Qatar where we’ll quote DIS again.”
