While the Shatek al Raha has an installed PA system, it is said to have proved unsuitable for the "level of clarity and intelligibility" required for this production.
"Even slight infections of voice convey subtle meaning," commented Triangle's MD, Zahid Elian. "We recommended a PA system based upon d&b audiotechnik's excellent Q-Series systems. Ideal for the demands on clarity, it provided total controlled coverage throughout the theatre, yet is small enough not to compromise the beautiful architecture for which the al Raha is renowned."
The final specification installed by Triangle comprised a flown system of Q1, Q7 and Q-SUBS, all run from D12 digital amplifiers, with d&B's ROPE C Remote software providing system control.
