Technosound recently designed and commissioned audio systems for two substantial theme venues in Beirut. Both are located outdoors and employ Community R-Series loudspeakers, including Rio City (pictured).
Rio City is a small village with a comprehensive road network around which electric-powered cars are driven. Designed to both entertain visitors and help teach youngsters how to drive responsibly, Rio City is the brainchild of the Malouf Group.
Technosound was commissioned to design and provide a music system to cover all public areas of Rio City. Nine distributed R.25-94Z loudspeakers supply the coverage required and these are driven by QSC RMX1450 amplifiers. A PROART PM3320 provides dual zoning and a TEAC dock enables MP3 input.
Adjacent to Rio City, the Rio Lento Waterpark features a 1,200 square meter wave pool, a party island and much more. Specified to enable the high-quality relay of public messages and background music, the system supplied by Technosound incorporates eight R.25-94TZs, pole-mounted in a central cluster, high above the park and with clear sight-lines to all areas. An ART MX622F provides control and mic input facilities and QSC ISA300TI amplifiers power the system.
