Due to the demand for its use in aesthetically-sensitive installations, the R.25 all-weather loudspeaker is now available in an all-white enclosure with white grille and yoke.
The R.25 is the most compact model in Community’s R-Series, measuring 11.3 x 11.3 x 13.3 inches. It uses a horn loaded 8-inch mid/bass and .75-inch compression HF unit, providing a full-range system with a 90 x 40 degree coverage pattern. The all-weather moulded enclosure has integral points for vertical or horizontal mounting with the supplied yoke, and a built-in pole mount for portable use.
Visually neat and simple to install, the R.25 is designed to provide high quality intelligibility and music reproduction for short-to-medium throw fixed and portable applications, including theme parks, sport venues, arenas and cruise ships. It can also be used in distributed indoor systems in medium-to-large spaces like conference, exhibition and shopping centres and swimming pools.
Community’s vice-president, John Wiggins, told IE: “Our customers have told us that they needed an attractive aesthetically pleasing white finish for modern architectural applications. Building on the overwhelming success of the nearly ubiquitous ‘go-away-grey’ R.25, it was a logical way to add value and sales to this very popular outdoor/indoor product. The R.25, in neutral white finish, bridges the Community R-Series line with our high tech white WET Weather Environmental Technology products, which are so popular on cruise ships, sports venues and themed entertainment.”
