Christie has launched a new content management solution at ISE 2012. Jumpstart targets architectural markets, such as museums, stadiums and universities, that need high-resolution, reliable content playback across large videowalls.
“Christie Jumpstart can be used with any digital display that has up to four inputs, and is an ideal companion for small and medium-sized Christie MicroTiles videowalls,” said Richard Heslett, senior product manager, business products, Christie.
Jumpstart is said to combine user-friendly software with HP hardware; it enables users to position and play back a variety of content including video, graphics, Blu-ray and DVD movies and text.
When used with MicroTiles, it communicates directly with the master External Content Unit (ECU) automatically picking the best resolution for the canvas.
Other features of Jumpstart include multi-windowing capabilities, integrated software and that fact that it plays media locally so no external PCs or movie players are required.
