Mounting and racking specialist Chief is shipping new pin-connection systems for projector mounts, columns and ceiling plates. These are compatible with the company’s traditional threaded accessories.
Chief says that the new product line has been developed as the result of customer feedback. With many applications using pin connections, partners throughout the EMEA region requested greater versatility from Chief’s products.
The company worked closely with key customers to develop the desired solutions, which it describes as sleek and secure. “It was crucial to retain the installer-friendly, time-saving features of the projector mount solutions while adding the pin-connection capabilities more common in Europe,” said Melinda von Horvath, senior director, sales and marketing EMEA. “We are thrilled to offer such innovative projector mounts as well as a new column and plate system to meet those requests.”
Columns can be modified in the field, and integrated cable inlays allow for clean cable management and quick access when cables need to be serviced. The projector mounts retain Chief’s Microzone adjustment capabilities for fast, precise projector registration.
The column system and projector mounts are safety tested and TUV certified.
To simplify ordering, kits are available with everything needed in one box for installation, including a telescopic height-adjustable column, integrated key lock mount security and all-point security hardware.
