JVC is showcasing the new LT-42WX70 42in full HD LCD monitor, which is aimed at the custom install market, but also digital imaging professionals and enthusiasts using high-end digital SLR cameras. All of these groups will appreciate being able to see the subtle colours, details and textures of their still, or moving images faithfully reproduced, says the manufacturer.

According to JVC, the new monitor features expanded colour space capacity, encompassing 100% of HDTV broadcastingís (ITU-R BT.709) colour space and 96% of Adobe RGB, to provide accurate reproduction of video and still photographs. The LT-42WX70 also features 52 picture-quality adjustment properties for easy but accurate calibration of still and video images source-by-source.

In addition, the latest version of JVCís Dynapix HD Picture Engine is designed to produce video images without blur, colour bleed or noise for clear images with smooth movement, the manufacturer notes.

Also being demonstrated is the ëTrue Blackí range of projectors. These feature JVC technology that gives them ultra-high native contrast ratios of 30,000:1 and 50,000:1, as well as highly detailed images and accurate colour.

The DLA-HD750 also features 3D colour management and many other features that make it particularly suitable for the installer, due to the scope it provides for optimising system performance and tailoring the image to meet individual preferences.

Other products being exhibited at this Expo include Blu-ray players and the new Everio X HD camcorder with 9 MegaPixel still images.
