CEDIA Expo – AWE inspiring.

Taking centre stage on the AWE stand at this Expo is a selection of best-in-class screens headed by the new Panasonic CHT (Custom Home Theatre) series. Visitors can see the TH-65VX100e CHT plasma, and the recently launched TH-50EX100e, which are regarded as among the highest quality screens class now available to the CI sector.

Other ëtop brandí options for custom installers include the 21:9 Cinema TV from Philips, which is exclusive to AWE, the latest super-slim screens from Sharp and the new Viera 10 series from Panasonic, which includes the ultra slim Neo PDP plasma and the impressive 103in plasma.

Then there is the first showing of Arcam products on the AWE Stand. Visitors can catch up with Arcamís CI-focused range ñ now exclusively distributed by AWE – extending to eight and 12 channel power amplifiers, the complete Solo range of music and movie systems and a selection of loudspeakers, iPod docks and accessories.

Meanwhile, in control options, the full Philips Pronto range is on display, including the newly launched TSU-9300 which is a fully customisable remote control working with IR, IP and RS-232, alongside the new custom finished Pronto TSU-9600 and TSU-9800, hand finished in leather.

The Xantech Digi-5 digital multi-zone multi-room audio system is also on show, offering more power and higher quality than the older analogue designs, according to AWE. The upgraded Xantech MRC88M multiroom controller, HD88 video switcher and best-selling IR distribution kits and problem solvers also make an appearance.

Live demonstrations of the capabilities of AWE equipment are available in the upgraded AWE Solutions House. Here, the Philips Pronto control system drives the system of devices from Lutron, Xantech and others, helping to bring whole-house audio, video and lighting to life for visitors.

AWE is showing off the KEF Home Theatre (KHT) speakers and new sub-woofers. Other headline attractions include the Cineversum BlackWing One projector, on display alongside new AV receivers from Pioneer, Denon, Onkyo and Yamaha; Pioneerís latest Blu-Ray player; 8in in-ceiling speakers from Flatline Acoustics USA and Denonís new AV amp.

AWE is offering free training at Expo with courses on offer including an overview of Xantech multi-room and Dragon programming, Level 1 Pronto training and more. These courses are being presented as part of the free CEDIA Trade Suppliers training programme.
