The new Corvo ASW-1 is an audio-controlled mains power relay for economising energy consumption and improving the product life of audio power amplifiers. Loss of the audio signal disconnects the mains power to the amplifier(s) after a user-adjustable time-out. Instantaneous power-on when audio returns. There is also user adjustable audio level threshold and the unit is mains rated at 230V/5A.
Corvo Technology recently added two Bang & Olufsen compatible IR receivers to its range. The IRR-455 is for use with B&O 455KHz IR signals, and has been designed to reject high noise interference from Plasma and LCD displays. The IRR-40/455 is a dual band IR receiver capable of handling B&O IR frequencies, as well as the more common lower 40KHz IR frequencies.
