Beaver Solutions recently delivered a complete and single-sourced digital menu board and print design service to the prominent multiplex operator. The new equipment – delivered with the assistance of Signature Digital Menus – enables the more effective display and turnaround of promotions in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria.
In addition to shooting specific HD video content for use on the digital menu boards, Beaver Solutions – which is part of the Beaver Group – developed a configuration that enables the communication of concession information in local languages. The fact that the print and digital teams work from the same offices was said to be a significant asset in pulling the 12-week project together quickly and efficiently.
Robin Critchley, marketing executive for Beaver Group, told IE: “The objective of this project was to unify the print and digital formats of the menu boards and promotions. The work we have delivered creates a coherent and stylish design for their customer-facing menu boards and is helping to increase sales for Cinema City International. These new designs and digital content are working very well.”
Alon Zohar, food and beverages director at Cinema City International, added: “The content and video production by Beaver Solutions is excellent. We’ve had a lot of good feedback from our customers and we’re noticing a significant uplift in sales. The design work from Beaver Solutions has really made a difference.”
Moving forward, Beaver Solutions will manage ongoing price changes and additional items for the digital menu system on behalf of Cinema City International. There are also plans to roll out the new designs to other countries, including Israel.
The Cinema City International project is by no means Beaver Solutions’ only engagement with the cinema market. One other ongoing association sees the company provide content design, weekly updates and price changes for digital signage installations at three Showcase Cinemas in the UK.
“We are able to deliver a technical and design service, enabling us to provide a single point of contact for the digital and print evolution in this sector,” concluded Critchley.
