Work at the 2,000-capacity venue was completed in April in time for the busy summer season that is set to include many Ministry of Sound sessions.
In order to satisfy a wide variety of DJ and dance events, live performances and presentations, the venue purchased a system comprising 20 Turbosound TA-500DP self-powered Aspect Wide and four TCS-122 mid/high loudspeakers, with 12 TSW-218DP self-powered subs.
“Personally, I believe it’s the finest sound system I’ve played on the world over,” said Steve Richards, a DJ who is also in charge of music management and events at Babylon. “Everyone is very happy, we’ve had excellent comments from guest DJs, tour managers [and] staff, and our customers are very pleased.”
