A new Audac background music system has been installed at Casa Focaccia, a recently opened restaurant in the Hilltop Village entertainment district, in Windhoek, Namibia. Designed and integrated by Stage Audio Works (SAW) Namibia, the system combines compact loudspeakers, amplification and streaming control to deliver audio across both indoor and outdoor areas.
Working with Chamberlain Architects, SAW Namibia specified an Audac ATEO6M loudspeaker pair, powered by an MFA216 amplifier and an NMP40 SourceCon streaming module, providing direct access to online music services. The loudspeakers were installed using Audac’s CleverMount+ system for a discreet appearance.
Udo Stehle, senior sales consultant at SAW Namibia, said: “The client requested a straightforward background music system that could easily be managed day-to-day by the team at Casa Focaccia. We focused on delivering a system that complemented the restaurant’s design aesthetic and ensured balanced audio in every area.”
Stehle added: “The ability to control the system from multiple devices makes it user-friendly. It’s the perfect balance of functionality and simplicity, ideal for a hospitality environment where ease of use and the ability to shape the atmosphere with the right background music are key.”
Rohan Dilip Kumar, owner and head chef at Casa Focaccia, said: “The audio system has been performing reliably and has enhanced the overall dining experience for our guests. The clarity and balance of the sound across both indoor and outdoor areas create the perfect atmosphere without overwhelming conversation.”
Stehle concluded: “The Audac system was an excellent fit here; its clarity, warmth and intuitive control make it ideal for crafting an inviting atmosphere. When the sound feels natural and unobtrusive, it elevates the space.”
