PA/VA specialist Ateis has been selected by Fourway Communications at a number of projects in the rail sector, including Kings Cross St Pancras, Reading Station and most recently Transport for London’s new Paddington underground station.
Ateis has a long track record working in the rail sector on installations worldwide including the TGV railway line from Paris to Marseille, the Haupbahnhof station in Zurich, and the underground rail network in Nuremburg.
After years of development to provide a VA system that is infinitely configurable, easy to install and fully compliant, the new IDA8 networked public address-voice alarm system is taking systems to new heights as a ‘one-box’ solution.
Its debut at Silverstone’s legendary F1 racetrack set the pace, where it has enhanced both the visitor experience and communications in the pit. The IDA8 appeals on many levels as it runs open DSP software for optimum flexibility. It also boasts IP connectivity and features an IP microphone to maximize the facility. Remote diagnostics offer easy configuration and enhanced systems operations.
Its substantial in-built voice announcement store features an impressive four hours of recording capacity, which can be easily accessed remotely through third-party interfaces. Offering support at every level of any installation, Ateis provides custom training and systems back up as well as ensuring that the VA system is supplied rack mounted, configured and integrated to the highest standards by Fusion plc.
