UK/Eur CI equipment supplier Asheridge Communications has announced the introduction of the new Arteor Home Automation System and accessories from Legrand.
Providing custom installers with a whole house system designed to meet individual customer requirements, Legrand’s Arteor is said to provide benefits include: full lighting control systems with in-room and central control for the home, and the ability to set bulbs to 95% brightness; heating control that allows a home owner to configure the heating for the whole house or on an individually basis centrally or locally; a door entry system that integrates with the home automation system and can provide multiple points around the home to answer the door; curtain and blind control from single button pushes; and a multi-room audio system that integrates with the rest of the system, including door entry, running on the BUS system.
Arteor enables users to create their own scenes for true home automation, whilst use of the web module for whole house control allows the end-user to employ iPhone apps or the web to control their property. The web interface provides installer of an Arteor system to log in remotely in the event of a support call from a customer, possibly circumventing the need for a site visit.
The system can also be configured to work with other control interfaces, including Pronto.
