Asheridge adds to MADI momentum

As support for MADI continues to grow across the pro and CI audio worlds, Asheridge Communications has added new HDMI solutions from PureLink.

As support for MADI continues to grow across the pro and CI audio worlds, Asheridge Communications has added new HDMI solutions from PureLink. The new launches from PureLink available via Asheridge Communications include the HCE Modular HDMI Extension System . Designed for in-wall cable runs over single CAT5, the HCE features PureLink’s Auto-EDID management and independent HDCP communication to ensure fast and reliable connections while simplifying cable management.

In addition to the HCE system, Asheridge has also added the PureLink HIP modular HDMI over IP solution that boosts a video/audio transmission distance up to 100 metres in HDTV 1080p format. With one low-cost CAT5/5e cable, users can extend HDTV sources to distant display monitors including HDMI-enabled TV sets or LCD PC monitors.

Also available is a PureLink rack-mount extension chassis, RF6T/R, that provides the power for up to six modules and is compatible with the HCE (HDMI over single CAT5), DCE (DVI over single CAT5), HDXII (HDMI over Fibre) and OBCII (DVI over fibre) baluns. This chassis solution enables the AV engineers to distribute HD content around a property with a host of cabling options, while enabling the maintenance of a tidy organised rack and a reduction in power socket requirement.

Kevin Swanton, Asheridge’s UK sales director, commented: “We believe that these innovative products from PureLink will help installers and integrators to provide a neater, more reliable, solution, to their clients. These products will enable our customers to continue to provide a more professional approach to the integration and distribution of HDMI.”
