Artistic Licence has introduced the next generation of Pixi-Flex. It now has the added benefit of IP67 rating, making it a durable, weather resistant solution for outside events, concerts and exterior architectural applications.

Multichrome Flex from Artistic Licence is a string of miniature self-contained LED colour pixels moulded onto a cable. Each pixel measures just 38mm in diameter with a 17mm lens and can be either individually addressed or controlled as a group.

Every pixel is encapsulated in a plastic housing making it a durable, weather resistant solution for outside events, concerts and exterior architectural applications.

Said to be ideal for colour wall and low-res video wall applications, Multichrome Flex contains a custom silicon chip that receives high-speed data from the controller and allows each pixel to be individually controlled at the high speed needed for video display.

Multichrome Flex can also be programmed and controlled using Artistic Licence Colour-Tramp to display real-time video alongside stunning visual effects.

Its small size, low weight and low heat allow Multichrome Flex pixels to be push-fitted into almost any structure including sets, walls and other architectural features. Multichrome Flex can be deployed outdoors or indoors: its IP67 rating is said to make it the only RGB LED system of its kind at this specification.

A total of 32 Multichrome Flex pixels can be driven from a single control cable. Three controllers are available, each of which have been developed alongside Multichrome Flex to give maximum power and control options.
