APart audio equipment specified for Justine Henin tennis centre

The new complex is the result of a two-year renovation and expansion programme that commenced after Henin’s acquisition of the club in 2005. APart dealer and integrator Strobbe was brought on board to help ensure quality audio throughout a large site that encompasses a 175sq m clubhouse, a VIP bar, an _ la carte restaurant, a lounge bar annex workshop and two seminar rooms.

“We had to work extremely fast,” recalled Laurence Rosseels, project manager at Strobbe. “We signed our contract with the Club in October, with the grand opening scheduled for November 30. That means we had to design the system’s architecture, order products, install and program everything within six weeks. Our experience with APart, the immediate availability of the products and our client’s confidence was a great help, though.”

“Strobbe proposed APart products and we [were totally confident] in their choice,” said Club JustineN1 general manager William Froidville. “They are the experts. Besides, Justine is a Belgian icon and we were delighted to be able to bring a Belgian audio brand into our tennis centre. The cooperation with Strobbe and APart reflects Justine’s and [coach] Carlos Rodrigues’ values. It’s all about communication, expertise and respect.”

The equipment list included 12 MASK6 speakers along with Pubdrive 2000 amplifiers and SUB2200 subwoofers in the clubhouse; 10 CMX-20T speakers, PA2120 amplifiers and two MASK6 speakers in the restaurant/VIP bar; six MASK6 speakers, SUB2200 subwoofers and one PUBDRIVE2000 amplifier in the lounge; 16 MASK6 speakers and two PA2120 amplifiers in the large seminar room; and 10CM20T ceiling speakers and one PA2120 amplifier in the small seminar room. Control is through Crestron Quick Media.
