Store manager Stephane Quartana asked Ambiance Lumi_re to complement the site’s eye-catching interior with a suitably striking exterior lighting solution.
The resulting installation includes IP65-rated Anolis Arcline Optic 36 fixtures for one side of the building, which is adjacent to a car parking area. Four of the 1.2m length fixtures provide washes upwards, while a row of 0.6m versions installed under the roof recess handle down-lighting duties.
Ambiance Lumi_re has also installed six Anolis ArcSource Outdoor 12 RGB fixtures to illuminate sections of the building in-between the windows.
The standard colour used is Krys’s corporate blue, although other variations are possible thanks to a series of looks and sequences that have been pre-programmed into the Sunlight ESA controller inside the shop.
“It was a great opportunity for us to demonstrate the huge potential of retail applications,” commented Ambiance’s Patrice Vandenbussche.
