The new equipment was supplied by ATEC Pro Audio, which is the exclusive Lab.gruppen distributor in Austria. In total, Vereinigte B_hnen Wien now owns 35 Lab.gruppen C 48:4 amplifiers, including a recent investment of 11 units destined for use on a forthcoming musical production. The amplifiers are being used in conjunction with passive APG Micro Axial and Meyer Sound MM4 loudspeakers.
According to ATEC Pro Audio’s Erich Hofbauer, the C 48:4s were selected for reasons including their reliability and sonic performance.
“We were very confident when we proposed the Lab.gruppen C 48:4 amplifiers, and the client has not been disappointed,” he said. “In fact, they even decided to standardise on the units throughout both venues for compatibility, so it’s been a real success story for Lab.gruppen in Vienna.”
In other news, Hofbauer told II that ATEC Pro Audio recently supplied 11 Lab.gruppen FP+10000 four-channel amplifiers to Vienna’s Gasometer event hall.
