Distributor Aldous Systems will show FortÈ's ABD-W5 A-BUS/DIRECT WALL active + passive pair of speakers at ISE 2010. The product - which arrives with remote keypad and wall cradle - will be exhibited on the Aldous stand (1EF49) at next week's exhibition.

Distributor Aldous Systems will show FortÈ’s ABD-W5 A-BUS/DIRECT WALL active + passive pair of speakers at ISE 2010. The product – which arrives with remote keypad and wall cradle – will be exhibited on the Aldous stand (1EF49) at next week’s exhibition.

A further addition to the A-BUS multi-room audio family, the new 5.25in A-BUS/DIRECT WALL digitally amplified loudspeaker product offers full weather and UV resistance – making it suitable for indoor and outdoor installation – along with a high-powered emitter (38k and 56kHz) in the (supplied) ABR-43 learning remote keypad, dimensions of 155 x 240 x 190mm, an IR window on the grille for full A-BUS controls and IR pass through, a fixed 3m Cat5 cable and RJ-45 input, and a 5m 14-gauge speaker cable.

Aldous Systems’ Jason Aldous told IE Residential: “ISE is an important event to us as it gives us a pan-European coverage. As the European importer of product for the FortÈ A-BUS range of products it is important to us that we can communicate the availability of new products to our wide customer base. ISE gives us a vehicle to achieve this.”

In other Aldous Systems-related news, the company was recently appointed to the role of sole distributor for Home Automation, Inc (HAI) products in the UK. Aldous joins a roll call of distributors that encompasses more than 80 countries worldwide.

HAI director of international sales & marketing Allison Read said that the company is “pleased to work with the quality team at Aldous. HAI initiated a new programme for international growth last year with Europe being a primary target area. As a result, our international sales grew last year over 50%. Adding Aldous to the team is an important part of continued growth into 2010.”
