ADI and Control4 tech deployed at Panama hospitality venue

Integrated automation, audio and networking platform supports flexible dining, events and entertainment operations at ADAMA Bar and Restaurant

Control4 automation, Episode loudspeakers and Araknis networking infrastructure from ADI have been deployed at ADAMA Bar and Restaurant in Panama City, Panama, as part of an integrated technology installation designed and delivered by Next Level Tech.

Built around the Control4 platform, the system combines automation, audio distribution and networking technologies to support the venue’s private dining rooms, main salon and outdoor terrace. Staff can adjust lighting scenes, audio levels and operational settings to accommodate different room configurations, private events and changing service periods throughout the day.

A centrally located Control4 touchscreen provides management of music, lighting, climate control and scheduling across the venue, while wall-mounted keypads deliver localised control within private dining areas. Audio is delivered through Episode loudspeakers, with a Control4 audio matrix managing multiple music sources and volume zones. The venue also includes a dedicated DJ station integrated into the Control4 platform, enabling live performances to be routed to selected areas while maintaining centralised system control.

One of the project’s key technical challenges was the restaurant’s six-metre-high open industrial ceiling, which exposes air-conditioning infrastructure, suspended lighting and loudspeakers. To address this, Next Level Tech worked with ADI, architects and interior designers to develop a distributed audio design capable of maintaining balanced coverage across changing room layouts while preserving the venue’s visual aesthetic.

The installation is underpinned by Araknis Networks infrastructure, providing connectivity for the venue’s automation, audio and operational systems. ADI says the completed deployment enables ADAMA to transition between daytime dining, private events and late-night entertainment while maintaining a consistent atmosphere and simplified day-to-day operation for staff.

“Projects like this demonstrate how integrated automation, networking and AV technologies can support much more than entertainment alone,” said Herbert Bansbach, business development manager at ADI. “Through ADI’s ecosystem of interoperable brands and solutions, integrators can create hospitality environments that deliver flexibility, operational efficiency and a more consistent guest experience while remaining simple for staff to manage day-to-day.”
