Webster joins True Colours to develop new opportunities

The company said that Matthew Webster's appointment as specialist account manager is expected to be the first of several to be announced in the coming months as it sharpens its focus on vertical markets.

True Colours, the specialist AV division of the Midwich group, has appointed Matthew Webster who joins the company as specialist account manager. This newly created external position has, said the company, been created to strengthen the existing team of sales specialists and to raise awareness and develop new opportunities for True Colours and its vendor partners.

Bringing 11 years of industry experience gained from various reseller roles as well as from having run his own AV company, True Colours believes that Webster’s solid understanding of the channel and end-user requirements will be an asset to both vendors and resellers.

“I’m very proud and excited to be part of True Colours,” said Webster (pictured). “It’s a company and team that I have known since my very first days in AV and I have admired the team have grown and developed the business. As part of the Midwich group, True Colours’ small yet perfectly formed team of product specialists and sales support staff is backed by the additional stability and benefits that come from being part of the larger group. My active interest in AV, solid account management experience and industry knowledge will be an asset to the True Colours team and its customers just as the company introduces new products to its line-up of digital signage, wireless presentation and other cutting-edge technologies.”

“Matthew joins True Colours in a business development role at a very exciting time,” said Iain Campbell, sales director at True Colours. “As we continue to accelerate our growth plan into the many vertical markets that the Midwich group continues to take us, we need to continue to invest in our consultative sales approach to meet the demand. Further positions will be announced over the coming months.”
