Watchout for Dataton at ISE

The latest version of Dataton's WATCHOUT software is said to enable designers and rental companies to reach new levels of creativity.

Dataton’s ISE stand will showcase the latest version of Dataton WATCHOUT, the company’s multi-display production and timeline-based presentation software. The company says that this latest version enables show designers and rental companies to reach new levels of creativity and has already proved popular in larger, more complex multimedia installations.

Dataton will also be throwing the spotlight on PICKUP, its next-generation audio guide system, which offers up to 8GB of audio storage in a wireless player only 10cm long, along with built-in MP3 file playing and FM radio functions, and multi-language capabilities.

Visitors to the stand will, says the company, be able to get hands on with the WATCHOUT Systems Manager which gives users remote access to many key aspects of a show, as well as remote monitoring of multiple WATCHOUT-connected display systems.

“Since we were last at ISE in 2010, we have had a fantastic year in which our products have been used in some truly ground-breaking multimedia shows and installations,” said Fredrik Svahnberg, marketing director at Dataton. “Some of these have been in far-flung locations such as Australia, Brazil, the US and, of course, the Shanghai World Expo – but many others have been on our doorstep, right here in Europe, and this market is extremely important to us. We will be announcing these in the lead-up to the show.”

“ISE in Amsterdam always brings us face-to-face with a variety of new and existing customers,” continued Svahnberg, “and we are confident that the line-up of technologies we are displaying in 2011 will win over the hearts and minds of everyone who sees them – and hears them!”
