VidaBox has announced that the company is shipping the iPCX charger extender kit for its on-wall iPad mounting solutions, which allow for the integration of iPads into any home environment for complete system control. In addition to being compatible with VidaBox-branded iPad mounts, the kit is said to work with other iPad mounts on the market and provide reliable charging over long distances of up to 100 feet via a single CAT5 cable.
Consisting of a specially engineered USB cable and two USB-RJ45 connectors, VidaBox says that the iPCX kit includes everything installers need to provide dependable charging for single or multiple wall-mounted iPads.
“Through the combination of our iPad mounts and iPCX kit, we are offering consumers a complete wall-mount solution at a very competitive price, without compromising on quality or style,” said Steven Cheung, president of VidaBox. “The kits are easy to assemble and install, making it simple for integrators to give their customers complete freedom to use their iPads as their preferred control device. Other iPad mounts on the market are not available with a charging solution, but we’ve ensured that the iPCX kit is compatible with those devices, as well.”
Designed to complement the look of any décor, VidaBox iPad mounts feature 19-mm aluminium frames in seven different colours and finishes: black metalline, brushed German silver, Florentine black, Florentine grey, Florentine silver, Florentine walnut, and matte black. The frames can also be custom painted to blend into any environment.
