Integrated Systems Events has confirmed that the next edition of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is now close to being a sell-out, with more than 700 exhibitors expected to take part. Improving levels of confidence and activity across the AV business are among the factors thought to have contributed to the summer surge in new bookings, as a result of which only a handful of stands remain unsold – despite the addition of two further halls since the 2010 event.
IE understands that organisers are currently expecting over 700 exhibitors, compared with 640 in 2010 – representing an increase of at least 8.6%.
The news will only add to expectations for the next edition of Integrated Systems Europe, which is scheduled to take place at the Amsterdam RAI from 1-3 February 2011.
Mike Blackman, MD of organiser Integrated Systems Events, commented: “Little more than a month ago, we felt certain that our expansion into Halls 6 and 9 of the Amsterdam RAI would be enough to cater for the increase in exhibitor demand by comparison with 2010. However, even in those two new halls, very few spaces now remain unsold.
“In parallel with the healthy business climate, we are also seeing large numbers of manufacturers entering our market with new products, for which ISE 2011 will be the perfect global launch platform. And, on top of that, many of our existing exhibitors have enlarged the stand space they occupy – some by as much as 100%.”
In Hall 9, ISE 2011 will see the launch of two new feature areas: the IP Village and 3D Pavilion. The former will act as a showcase for manufacturers offering hardware which can connect with AV systems via IP, while the latter will give 3D solution providers the chance to demonstrate their offerings, with a dedicated presentation theatre forming the centrepiece. Space within both areas is already in short supply.
