TTA divulges ISE, appointment news

Norwegian theatre sound specialist TTA has announced its plans for ISE 2011 and boosted its sales & marketing team with the appointment of Flemming Sørensen.

Norwegian theatre sound specialist TTA has announced its plans for ISE 2011 and boosted its sales & marketing team with the appointment of Flemming Sørensen (pictured).

In its first appearance at ISE, TTA will join forces with distributor Electric Sound Benelux to present the Stagetracker FX performer tracking and positioning software.

Extending the appeal of Stagetracker FX, the system now features a fresh customised GUI to provide user-friendly access to/control of the new Pan Between Points (PbP) operational mode. PbP reduces the degree of user input to a ‘minimum’ and increases the system’s relevance to venues and productions using line arrays.

In other news, TTA has added to its team with the appointment of Flemming Sørensen to serve as sales & marketing manager. Formerly the director of the pro-audio department at distributor Kinovox, Sørensen takes responsibility for TTA’s international export as well as overseeing national sales for Denmark and Norway. (Completing the Scandinavian ‘picture’, Arva Trading AB has been appointed as TTA’s exclusive distributor in Sweden.)

Sørensen commented: “TTA has a great story to tell of talented Norwegian inventors who are designing truly groundbreaking technology for the performance industry. They’ve had good successes in Europe already; my immediate goal is to take this story further abroad, and match that success in the rest of the world.”
