True Colours Open Workshop takes place 20th June

Distributor True Colours will host its regular open day this Wednesday and showcase a broad range of AV solutions.

True Colours Distribution, the technical division of Midwich, specialising in connectivity solutions for complex AV installations, has announced that it will be hosting its next Open Workshop on June 20th at its in Crowthorne.

A showcase of products from True Colours and other companies in the Midwich group, the event, also dubbed’ Education Through Experience’, True Colours says that the event gives resellers and integrators an ideal opportunity to discover the latest technical AV solutions in detail by offering full product demonstrations by industry experts and manufacturers.

Split into several zones across True Colours’ Pinehill Road premises in Crowthorne, just off the M4 in Berkshire, the Open Workshop will be offering solutions in projection, digital signage and, with Midwich’s recent acquisition of RW Salt Communications, increased opportunities in professional audio.

In addition, Midwich Security will be in the command and control zone where visitors can see large format displays, videowalls and controls in action along with the latest in CCTV, monitoring and recording, access control, and voice evacuation.

Specialists Synergix will be on hand to demonstrate a full range of barcode technologies including ID printers and scanners and visitors will also be able to try out the Samsung SUR40, interactive multitouch table solution which True Colours says is only available in the UK via the Midwich group of companies.

“Since we first relaunched Open Workshop earlier this year its popularity has grown dramatically,” comments Iain Campbell, True Colours Sales Director (pictured). “Our customers want to know our products inside out before committing themselves and their clients to a purchase, and what better way than through an event like this? Visitors can expect a thoroughly exciting and informative day and if they visit the stand of Exterity, one of our major vendors, they can even enjoy a complimentary hog roast.”
