UK distributor Steljes invited its resellers to undertake the Chief Challenge.
Open to all Steljes resellers, the Chief Challenge was a test to see which reseller could do the best quality installations using three of the most popular Chief mounts in the fastest time as judged by Richard Billing (Channel Manager UK/IR) and Veronica Saldarriaga (Country Manager UK/IE) from Chief. The prize for the winner was £1,250 in travel vouchers.
According to Steljes, the three Chief installations covered – the WM230AUS, CMS440 and LTMU – provide a great insight in CHIEF’s installer inspired product features and will instantly clarify how Chief can make standard installations less time consuming, easy to service and future proof.
The WM230AUS short throw series is said to provide unparalleled flexibility, precision and strength. The CMS440 suspended ceiling kit installs above existing suspended ceiling tiles and provides features that are claimed to make installing most lightweight front projectors faster and more secure. Finally Chief’s LTMU is designed for any flat panel installation. These low-profile mounts are, says Steljes, engineered for speed of installation and usability and connect to a wide variety of accessories that custom make the installation for vertical applications such a video conferencing, digital signage or menu boards.
After a hands-on training session in the morning, the resellers were ready to show how they could put this training into action with the Chief Challenge. Kevin Akers of C1-Connect was declared as the winner, having completed the three installations in a 19 minutes 23 seconds.
