Steljes introduces SMART “try before you buy”

The new programme is designed to allow organisations to find out how they can benefit from the technology - at no risk.

UK distributor Steljes has announced that its rental division has launched a proof of concept service as part of its on-going support of the SMART Reseller Accreditation Programme (SRAP). The proof of concept is designed to support organisations in successfully adopting and integrating SMART Freestorm visual collaboration solutions into their business practices.

“The proof of concept service completely supports the customer journey from initial consultation that includes a needs analysis assessment through to comprehensive end user training and installation of the solution,” said Andy Horn, business manager of Steljes Rental (pictured). “The service has been designed to help our SRAP accredited resellers build a business case for the adoption of SMART’s Freestorm technology.”

The proof of concept period can be for any length of time and there is a minimum timeframe of a month for a proof of concept so that, said Steljes, there is a reasonable timeframe to truly evaluate if a customer’s objectives have been met.

“Initially, Steljes did a ‘soft launch’ to see whether this service would help our SRAP accredited resellers gain more traction in the corporate market and it has been a resounding success,” she continued. “To date, there are approximately 30 proofs of concept being carried out around the country and the conversion rate is an impressive 90%. This proves that our proof of concept service helps organisations make informed purchasing decisions based on objective evidence and helps them to manage the change process that adopting interactive technologies bring within their organisation.
