Steljes appoints manager for Adriatic region

Having established its Adriatic headquarters in Slovenia, distributor Steljes has appointed Mari Bojmalieva to develop its business in the region.

Distributor Steljes has appointed Mari Bojmalieva as Regional Category Manager responsible for Steljes’ product portfolio in Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo.

Bojmalieva has held a number of roles in the training department since she joined Steljes six years ago. Her most recent role was that of Head of Training in the UK and Ireland where she was instrumental in growing the Steljes training portfolio and developing partnerships with several educational establishments including the University of Dundee. Under her leadership, she has increased the department’s revenue by 30% year on year with over 5,000 receiving training in the last 18 months alone.

Recently Bojmalieva played a pivotal role in establishing Steljes’ presence in the Adriatic region and has been promoted to Regional Category Manager for that area. As part of her remit, she will be responsible for up-skilling resellers and helping them to achieve SMART Reseller Accreditation programme (SRAP) status.

“This is a tremendous career opportunity that plays to my key strengths and experience in marketing, training and partnership development“, said Bojmalieva (pictured). “As a native of Macedonia, I understand the cultural implications of working in this region and speak fluent English, German, Serbian/Croatian and Macedonian. Following the successful business model that Steljes has established in the UK and Ireland, my first priority for the next six months is to develop excellent working relationships with our resellers, up-skilling them to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities that the Steljes portfolio offers.”

Steljes has opened its headquarters in Maribor, Slovenia and is planning to set up demonstration centres in each country featuring the latest innovations from SMART Technologies. The demonstration centres will include solutions for both the education and business markets and will be open to all Steljes’ resellers to use free of charge to host their prospects and existing customers.

“Mari is a highly accomplished manager with a proven track record of successfully running one of the key areas of our business,” said Martin Large, CEO of Steljes. “She was the main driving force behind our decision to expand into the Adriatic region, meeting with the Ministers of Education in each of the Adriatic countries to establish our credentials and demonstrating what technology can do to transform learning outcomes. I am confident that her experience and business capabilities will establish Steljes as the leading supplier of innovative technology in the region.”
