‘Something tiny’ from Adamson

Mini additions to the Point Series Installation boxes will be on show alongside Energia Beta II.

For the installation market, Adamson is launching its most compact products yet with mini additions to the Point Series Installation range. The products feature much of the same technology as the original Point Series product line, and they complete the spectrum of two-way installation-specific products from the largest 15in Point 15, all the way down to the dual 5in enclosure. These mark the smallest Adamson products produced in its history.

The new dual 5in enclosure (Point 5) features 1 x 5in LF driver, and a second 5in coaxial driver. The 6.5in cabinet features a single 6.5incoaxial driver (Point 6). Both cabinets are built from 12mm Baltic Birch as are their larger counterparts, and are equipped with 5/16in screws for replacement with eye-hooks and other screw mounting accessories. They are flyable in both a vertical and horizontal plain, and are also Omnimount 20 ready.

Both cabinets run 2 x NL 4 cables, but can be ordered with a custom barrier strip option. The screens are made of 18 gauge steel with colour-matched foam, and can be customised in the array of the Architectural RAL colour chart.

These mini cabinets are said to be ideal fill boxes for under balcony or lip fill for medium and larger size installations needing additional coverage, or as a main PA in restaurants using music as an atmospheric element, or as a paging or public announcement speaker in libraries, schools and offices. The cabinets can be ordered in passive or active operation.

Adamson will be revealing Beta II for the North American market at InfoComm.
